Styled Through the Decades
Project Type: Styling
Date: September 2025
Location: Liberty University, Lynchburg, VA
For the Liberty University Fashion Show promotional shoot, I served as the stylist and concept designer, developing looks inspired by the show’s theme, Musicology. Drawing from multiple decades and music genres, I combined retro and modern influences to express fashion’s rhythm through time. Using thrifted pieces, items from my own wardrobe, and selections from my personal archive, I styled outfits that mixed 1970s flare pants with bold 1980s silhouettes and Y2K-inspired accessories. The final looks blended eras and sounds, celebrating how music shapes fashion. These visuals were featured across Liberty University’s campus and the Lynchburg community on screens, posters, and print ads, embodying the creative energy of Musicology.
